Product Detail

The Airmar TM185C Transducer is a great choice for offshore and freshwater fishing. With a medium CHIRP frequency from 85 to 135 kHz, it offers a 50 kHz total bandwidth from one transducer, covering popular fishing frequencies like 88 and 107 kHz. It can reach a maximum depth of 457 m (1,500') and has excellent shallow to mid - depth performance. This transducer is a depth and fast - response water - temperature sensor. It comes with a transom - mount, urethane housing and a stainless steel bracket for outboard and I/O powered boats. Exclusive Xducer ID® technology is included. Thru - hull (B285M, B175M) and in - hull (M135M) models are also available. The TM185M is designed for anglers in shallow to mid - range depths, delivering clear target and structure returns. It weighs 4.16 kg (9.17 lb), accommodates transom angles from 3° to 21°, and has an urethane acoustic window. The box includes the TM185C - M - MM.

Using the Airmar TM185C Transducer is easy. First, choose the right mounting option for your boat. If you have an outboard or I/O powered boat, the transom - mount with the stainless steel bracket is a good choice. Just make sure the transom angle is between 3° and 21°. For other boat types, you can consider the thru - hull or in - hull models. Once installed, turn on your fishing device that is compatible with this transducer. The medium frequency will start showing you fish and bottom details in shallow to mid - depth waters. As for maintenance, keep the urethane acoustic window clean. You can use a soft cloth to wipe it gently. Avoid hitting the transducer against hard objects as it may damage the internal components. If you're not using it for a long time, store it in a dry place to prevent any moisture damage.
