Product Detail

The Airmar TM265C Low/High CHIRP Transom Mount Transducer, model TM265C-LH-BL2, is a game - changer for fishing. It features 8 internal broadband ceramics, a depth and fast - response water temperature sensor. With a urethane housing and stainless - steel mounting bracket, it can even retrofit to existing TM258 & TM260 brackets. It also comes with the exclusive Xducer ID® technology. Traditional fish finders operate at set frequencies, but this broadband transducer uses CHIRP technology, sending 10 to 1,000 times more sound energy into the water. Specifically designed for small boats (25' - 40'), the TM265LH Chirps across low frequencies of 42 - 65 kHz and high frequencies of 130 - 210 kHz. Specifications include a 25° to 16° beamwidth at low frequency and 10° to 6° at high frequency, suitable for boats 8 m to 12 m long, outboards and I/O boats, with fiberglass, wood, or metal hulls and a hull deadrise of up to 28°. The acoustic window is urethane. What's in the box? The TM265CLH - MM, transom mount hardware, and the MMC - BL2.

Using the Airmar TM265C - LH Transducer is quite straightforward. First, make sure your boat size is between 25' and 40', and the hull type is fiberglass, wood, or metal with a deadrise of up to 28°. Mount the transducer using the provided transom mount hardware. Connect it using the Navico 7 - Pin and Y - cable Mix - N - Match Cable. When you're out on the water, the transducer will use CHIRP technology to help you detect fish more effectively. As for maintenance, keep the urethane housing clean. Avoid hitting the transducer against hard objects, as this could damage the internal broadband ceramics. Regularly check the connections to ensure they're secure. If you notice any issues with the depth or water temperature readings, check the sensor and the cables for any signs of damage. That's all you need to know to get the most out of your Airmar TM265C - LH Transducer.
