Product Detail

The Airmar TM265C Low/High CHIRP Transom Mount Transducer comes with a Raymarine 11-Pin Mix-N-Match Cable. Model: TM265C-LH-11R. It features 8 internal broadband ceramics, a depth and fast - response water temperature sensor. The transducer has a urethane housing and a stainless - steel mounting bracket and can be retrofitted to existing TM258 & TM260 brackets. It also uses the exclusive Xducer ID® technology. For the ultimate fishing experience, rely on Airmar's new broadband transducers. Unlike traditional marine fish finders that operate at set frequencies and use short - duration pulses, CHIRP uses a precise sweep of many frequencies in a long - duration transmit pulse, sending 10 to 1,000 times more sound energy into the water. Specifically designed for small boats (25'-40'), the TM265LH Chirps across 42 - 65 kHz (low frequency) and 130 - 210 kHz (high frequency). Specifications include low - frequency beamwidth from 25° to 16°, high - frequency beamwidth from 10° to 6°, suitable for boats 8 m to 12 m long, outboards and I/O boat types, fiberglass, wood or metal hulls, hull deadrise up to 28°, and a urethane acoustic window. The box includes the TM265CLH - MM, transom mount hardware, and the MMC - 11R.

Using the Airmar TM265C - LH Transducer is easy. First, choose a suitable location on your small boat (25'-40') for the transom mount. Make sure the hull type is fiberglass, wood, or metal, and the hull deadrise is up to 28°. Then, use the provided transom mount hardware to install the transducer firmly. Connect the Raymarine 11 - Pin Mix - N - Match Cable to your fish - finding device. When you're out on the water, the transducer will start working, giving you depth and water temperature information. For best results, keep the acoustic window (urethane) clean. Avoid hitting the transducer against hard objects, as it could damage the housing or the internal ceramics. Periodically check the mounting bracket for any signs of wear or looseness. If you notice any issues, contact Airmar's customer service for assistance.
