Product Detail

The Airmar TM265C-LH is a top - notch low/high CHIRP transom mount transducer paired with a Garmin 12 - Pin Mix - N - Match cable (Model: TM265C - LH - 12G). It features 8 internal broadband ceramics, a depth and fast - response water temperature sensor. The urethane housing and stainless - steel mounting bracket make it durable. You can retrofit it to existing TM258 and TM260 brackets, and it comes with exclusive Xducer ID® technology. This transducer is a game - changer for fishing. Traditional fish finders work at set frequencies, but CHIRP uses a wide range of frequencies, sending 10 to 1,000 times more sound energy into the water. Designed for small boats (25' - 40'), the TM265LH Chirps across 42 - 65 kHz (low frequency) and 130 - 210 kHz (high frequency). Specifications include beamwidths of 25° to 16° for low frequency and 10° to 6° for high frequency, suitable for boats 8 m to 12 m long, outboards or I/O boats, fiberglass, wood, or metal hulls with a deadrise up to 28°. The acoustic window is urethane. The package includes the TM265CLH - MM, transom mount hardware, and the MMC - 12G.

Using the Airmar TM265C - LH transducer is straightforward. First, use the provided transom mount hardware to securely attach the transducer to your boat. Make sure the boat type (outboards or I/O) and hull type (fiberglass, wood, or metal) match the product specifications, and the hull deadrise is up to 28°. Connect the Garmin 12 - Pin Mix - N - Match cable properly. When fishing, this transducer will give you accurate depth and water temperature readings. Remember, this product is designed for small boats between 25' and 40'. For maintenance, regularly check the urethane housing and stainless - steel mounting bracket for any signs of wear or damage. Clean the acoustic window gently to keep it in good condition. Avoid exposing the transducer to extreme conditions. If you need to retrofit it to an existing TM258 or TM260 bracket, follow the standard installation procedures carefully.
