Product Detail
The Airmar TM265C-LH is a remarkable low/high CHIRP transom mount transducer with a bare wire mix-and-match cable. Model TM265C-LH-0 offers a range of great features. It has 8 internal broadband ceramics, a depth and fast-response water temperature sensor. With a urethane housing and stainless steel mounting bracket, it can even be retrofitted to existing TM258 and TM260 brackets. It also comes with exclusive Xducer ID® technology. Say goodbye to traditional marine fish finders. This new broadband transducer is a game-changer for commercial fishermen, charter captains, and tournament anglers. Unlike traditional ones operating at set frequencies like 50 kHz and 200 kHz, Chirp uses a precise sweep of many frequencies in a long transmit pulse, sending 10 to 1,000 times more sound energy into the water. Specifically for small boats (25'-40'), the TM265LH Chirps across 42 - 65 kHz low frequency and 130 - 210 kHz high frequency. Specifications include a 42 - 65 kHz low frequency with a 25° to 16° beamwidth, a 130 - 210 kHz high frequency with a 10° to 6° beamwidth, suitable for boats 8 m to 12 m (25’ to 40’), outboards and I/O boat types, fiberglass, wood, or metal hulls with a hull deadrise up to 28°, and a urethane acoustic window. The box includes TM265CLH - MM, transom mount hardware, and MMC - 0.
Using the Airmar TM265C - LH transducer is easy. First, choose a suitable spot on your small boat (25' - 40') for mounting. The transducer can be installed on outboards or I/O boats with fiberglass, wood, or metal hulls, as long as the hull deadrise is up to 28°. Use the transom mount hardware provided in the box. Once installed, connect the bare wire mix - and - match cable correctly. When using, the transducer will start detecting the depth and water temperature quickly. It uses advanced Chirp technology to give you a better view of what's under the water. As for maintenance, keep the urethane housing clean. Avoid hitting the transducer against hard objects as it may damage the internal ceramics. Also, check the connections regularly to ensure they are secure. If you have any issues, refer to the product manual or contact customer service.
