Airmar Navico 9-Pin Dual Mix Match Cable f/Dual Element Transducers [MMC-9N2]

This Navico 9-pin dual mix-and-match cable is designed for dual-element transducers and fits dual-socket Navico/Lowrance/Simrad xSonic 9-pin equipment. Many CHIRP transducers are now mix-and-match models. They come with a 9-meter cable attached to the base transducer and an interchangeable 1-meter brand-specific adapter cable. The 9-meter cable has an Airmar 12-pin connector and runs up through the boat to the equipment. The short adapter cable connects the transducer cable to the equipment. Both parts are essential for installation. If you change the equipment brand later, you can keep the transducer and its cable and just replace the adapter cable. Note that these CHIRP mix-and-match cables can't be used with conventional 50/200kHz transducers. This product can't be returned to the original purchase point. Using this cable is easy. First, run the 9 - meter cable with the Airmar 12 - pin connector from the transducer up through the boat to the equipment location. Then, connect one end of the 1 - meter adapter cable to the 9 - meter cable and the other end to your Navico/Lowrance/Simrad xSonic 9 - pin equipment. Remember, you need both cables for the installation to work properly. If you decide to change your equipment brand in the future, you don't have to remove the whole transducer setup. Just swap out the 1 - meter adapter cable. Also, make sure not to use this cable with conventional 50/200kHz transducers as it won't work.
