Product Detail

The MM-9N Mix & Match Cable is designed for Simrad XSONIC Non-CHIRP 600W transducers. These transducers come with a common base and a short 2m cable, plus an 8m interchangeable brand-specific adapter cable. The short cable on the transducer has an Airmar 5-pin male connector, and the adapter cable has a matching 5-pin female connector at one end and the right connector for a specific electronics brand at the other. Both parts are essential for installation. If you switch equipment brands later, you can keep the transducer in place and just replace the adapter cable. Note that 600W Mix and Match cables aren't compatible with 1kw or CHIRP transducers. Features include a 9-pin connector for depth only and compatibility with HDS Carbon and evo 3. This product can't be returned to the original purchase point. Contact the manufacturer directly for any issues.

Using the Airmar MM-9N Mix-and-Match Cable is straightforward. First, make sure you have both the short cable attached to the transducer and the brand - specific adapter cable. Connect the Airmar 5 - pin male connector on the short cable to the matching 5 - pin female connector on the adapter cable. Then, connect the other end of the adapter cable to your specific electronics brand device. When installing, ensure all connections are secure. Remember, this cable is only for 600W Simrad XSONIC Non - CHIRP transducers. Don't use it with 1kw or CHIRP transducers as it won't work properly. If you change your equipment brand in the future, you can easily replace the adapter cable while leaving the transducer in place. For maintenance, keep the cables clean and dry. Check the connectors regularly for any signs of damage or corrosion. If you face any problems, don't return the product to the place of purchase. Instead, contact the manufacturer directly for assistance.
