Product Detail

The MM-8G Mix & Match Cable is perfect for 600W Non-CHIRP Transducers. These transducers come with a common base and a short 2m cable, along with an 8m interchangeable brand - specific adapter cable. The short cable on the transducer ends with an Airmar 5 - pin female connector, and the adapter cable has a matching male connector at one end and the right connector for a specific electronics brand at the other. You need both parts for installation. If you change your equipment brand later, you can keep the transducer and just replace the adapter cable. The 600W Mix & Match transducers include models like B117, B45, B60, etc. There's also a 12m (40') extension cable (part MM - 5P - 5P) available. Note that these 600W cables can't be used with 1kw transducers. Also, this product can't be returned to the original purchase point. Contact the manufacturer directly for any issues.

Using the Airmar MM - 8G Mix & Match Cable is easy. First, make sure you have both the short cable attached to the transducer and the adapter cable. Connect the short cable's Airmar 5 - pin female connector to the matching male connector on the adapter cable. Then, connect the other end of the adapter cable to your specific brand of electronics. When you install it, ensure all connections are secure. If you ever switch the brand of your equipment, you don't need to remove the transducer. Just replace the adapter cable. As for maintenance, keep the cables clean and dry. Avoid bending them sharply or pulling them too hard. Remember, these 600W cables won't work with 1kw transducers. And if you have any problems, don't return the product to the store where you bought it. Instead, contact the manufacturer directly.
