These Ancor heat shrink ring terminals are easy to use. First, make sure your wire is within the 16 - 14 gauge range and the screw size is 3/8 - inch. Slip the terminal onto the wire. Then, use a heat source to heat the terminal at 257°F (125°C). The terminal will shrink to 1/3 of its original size and form a watertight seal. Remember, these terminals are made of pure copper for maximum current flow and are tinned for corrosion resistance. As for maintenance, keep them in a dry place. And be aware that this product can expose you to certain chemicals, so always follow the safety warnings.
