These Ancor heatshrink snap plugs are super easy to use. First, choose the right wire within the 16 - 14 AWG range. Slide the plug onto the wire. Then, use a heat source like a heat gun. When the temperature reaches 257°F (125°C), the plug will start to shrink. It'll shrink to one - third of its original size and form a great watertight seal. Remember, this product has a warning. It can expose you to chemicals that may cause health issues, so handle it carefully. For maintenance, keep them in a dry place away from direct sunlight. If you're using them in a marine environment, they're designed to resist water, oil, and chemicals, but still give them a quick check every once in a while to make sure they're in good shape.
