These Ancor heat shrink butt connectors are easy to use. First, make sure the wires you're connecting are within the 12 - 10 AWG range. Slide the connector onto one of the wires. Then, insert the other wire into the connector. Use a heat source, like a heat gun, to heat the connector at 257°F/125°C until it shrinks to form a watertight seal. Remember, the operating temperature range is 40°C to 110°C, so don't use it in extreme conditions. As for maintenance, keep them dry and away from chemicals.
