Attwood's hull-mounted cowl ventilator is a great choice for your ventilation needs. It can be installed as a complete unit either from inside or outside the hull. The ventilation hose (not included) twists into the bottom of the box, creating a raised water barrier. These plastic vents resist corrosion and won't discolor. All collector boxes and vents are suitable for intake or exhaust and meet ABYC H-2 cross-sectional area requirements. It's designed for use with 3' I.D. wire-supported ventilation hoses. The flexible hose flange is screwed onto the hose, and then the vent snaps onto the flange. The vent is made of chrome-plated die-cast Perma-Plate® ZAMAK, while the flange is non-corrosive plastic. You can install it with #8 screws. The installation hole size ranges from 3-1/4' to 3-1/2'.
