Product Detail

The Airmar B175 Wide-Beam Chirp High Frequency 20d Tilted Element comes with a Humminbird 9-pin Mix and Match Cable. Model: B175C-20-HW-HB. It's a depth and fast-response water-temperature sensor. With high - CHIRPS from 150 kHz to 250 kHz, it has a 25° constant beamwidth and 100 kHz of total bandwidth from one transducer. It covers the popular 200 kHz fishing frequency and more in the bandwidth. Ideal for fiberglass or wood hulls on boats 8 m (25’) and above. Airmar's new wide beam Chirp product line offers more coverage under the boat. Its constant 25° beam width across the frequency band improves Chirp - ready echosounder performance. Anglers get twice the coverage compared to current high - frequency Chirp transducers. It provides vast bottom coverage, precise fish detection in the upper water column, and creates crisper, larger return images on the display. Specifications: Deadrise 16° to 24°, Acoustic Window Urethane, Power rating 1 kW @ 1% duty cycle, Frequency 150 to 250 kHz - A (Broadband). What's in the box: B175C-20-HW-MM Transducer and MMC - HB Mix and Match Cable.

Using the Airmar B175C-20-HW transducer is easy. First, make sure your boat is 8 meters or longer and has a fiberglass or wood hull. Connect the Humminbird 9-pin Mix and Match Cable to the transducer. Once connected, turn on your echosounder. The transducer will start sending and receiving signals to show you the depth and water temperature. When using, avoid hitting the transducer against hard objects as it may damage the acoustic window. Keep it clean by rinsing with fresh water after each use, especially if you've been in saltwater. Store it in a dry place when not in use. Also, make sure the deadrise of your boat is between 16° and 24° for the best performance.
