Using these Ancor 22 - 18 male heatshrink snap plugs is easy. First, select the right wire within the 22 - 18 AWG range. Slide the plug onto the wire. Then, use a heat source to heat the plug until it reaches 257°F (125°C). As it heats, it will shrink to 1/3 of its original size and form a watertight seal. Make sure to wear heat - resistant gloves during this process. When it comes to maintenance, keep them in a dry place to prevent corrosion. Avoid exposing them to extreme temperatures outside the 40°C to 110°C operating range. Also, be aware of the warning about chemicals. If you're in California, check P65Warnings.ca.gov for more information.
