Using these ANCOR heat shrink butt connectors is easy. First, select the right wire within the 22 - 18 AWG range. Insert the wires into each end of the connector. Then, use a heat source like a heat gun to heat the connector. Make sure to heat it evenly until it shrinks to form a tight, watertight seal. The heat - activated adhesive will also flow out to provide an extra seal and strain relief. As for maintenance, keep them in a dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
