The OLAS Exposure Series Tag is a top - notch Wearable Crew Tracker integrating OLAS technology. In just 8 seconds after the tag goes missing, the OLAS mobile app detects the break in the ‘virtual tether’. Your phone or tablet then sounds an alarm, records the incident's latitude and longitude via GPS, and guides the crew to the MOB location with clear visual signals and bearing data. OLAS stores all necessary location and time data for rescue services. When boating alone with a 2G phone signal, activate Solo mode on the app, and it'll automatically send an SMS with GPS coordinates to your emergency contact.
With one phone or tablet, you can track up to 6 different OLAS Transmitters, and an unlimited number of devices can track each transmitter. For more transmitters, add the OLAS CORE base station or Guardian Engine Kill Switch to monitor up to 15.
This compact, ‘Smart’ transmitter can attach to adults, children, pets, and objects like floatation devices or Personal Locator Beacons. It's small, portable, and can be moved between boats for continuous protection. Each tag comes with a universal silicone wrist strap with a stainless - steel buckle and a pre - installed, user - replaceable CR2477 battery.
The OLAS transmitters cover vessels up to 40 feet long. It's part of a scalable OLAS ecosystem offering extra safety features for large crews on big vessels. You can even use the OLAS Tag with the OLAS Guardian Engine Kill Switch or OLAS Core Base Station without a phone.

Using the OLAS Exposure Series Tag is a breeze. First, make sure the pre - installed CR2477 battery is in place. You can easily attach the tag to your wrist using the silicone strap with a stainless - steel buckle, or to a life jacket, dog collar, or Personal Locator Beacon. Download the free OLAS app from the App Store or Google Play and search for ‘EXPOSURE OLAS’. Pair your tag with the app via Bluetooth 4.1.
When you're on the boat, the tag and app will form a ‘virtual tether’. If the tag goes missing, like in a man - overboard situation, the app will detect it within 8 seconds and sound an alarm. The app will also record the location using your phone or tablet's GPS. If you're boating alone, activate Solo mode in the app (you need a 2G phone signal). In case you get separated from the boat, the app will automatically send your emergency contact an SMS with your GPS coordinates.
One phone or tablet can track up to 6 different OLAS transmitters. If you need to track more, add the OLAS CORE base station or Guardian Engine Kill Switch.
For maintenance, keep an eye on the battery life indicator in the OLAS app. When the battery is low, you can easily replace it with a new CR2477 battery. The tag is waterproof (IP67), but it's a good idea to dry it off after getting wet. Also, if you're not using the tag, turn it off to conserve battery.
