Blue Sea 5068 MAXI In-Line Fuse Holder

Blue Sea Systems presents the MAXI® In-Line Fuse Holder, model 5068-BSS. It comes with a 5-inch #6 red lead wire and two adhesive-lined sealing shrink wrap tubes. The firewall surface mounting hole allows you to mount two or more holders together. It also has a protective cover with a retaining strap. Note that the fuse is sold separately. Specifications include a maximum amperage of 48A, a maximum voltage of 32V DC, and a mounting hole that can accommodate a 1/4', M6 or #12 screw.

Using the Blue Sea 5068 MAXI In - Line Fuse Holder is quite simple. First, make sure your system's amperage and voltage are within the product's specifications (48A and 32V DC). Then, use the 1/4', M6 or #12 screw to mount it on the firewall surface. You can mount multiple holders together thanks to the special mounting hole. The red lead wire that comes with it can be easily connected to your circuit. When it comes to the fuse, you'll need to buy it separately and insert it into the holder. As for maintenance, check the fuse regularly to see if it's blown. If it is, replace it right away. Keep the protective cover on to prevent dust and debris from getting in. When using the shrink - wrap tubes, make sure to seal the connections properly to avoid any electrical issues.
