Product Detail

The Airmar B75C-12-M is a great choice for smaller boats like center consoles. It's a depth and fast - response water - temperature sensor. With its medium CHIRP technology, it operates from 80 kHz to 130 kHz, offering a 24° to 16° beamwidth. It has a bronze transducer housing and is suitable for fiberglass or wood hulls. It covers popular fishing frequencies and provides up to 50 kHz of total bandwidth in one installation. It can show amazing bottom detail down to 274 m (900'). When installed almost flush to the hull, the 12° tilt of the element corrects for the hull deadrise, ensuring accurate depth readings. Specifications include a 9 m (30') cable, 8° to 15° deadrise range, 70 mm (2 - 13/16') hole size, 600 W power rating, and it comes with B75C - 12 - M - MM and MMC - 9N Cable in the box.

Using this Airmar transducer is easy. First, make sure your boat's hull is fiberglass or wood and the deadrise range is between 8° and 15°. Drill a 70 mm (2 - 13/16') hole for installation. Connect the 9 m (30') cable properly. When you turn it on, it will start measuring depth and water temperature. Remember, it's designed for boats up to 8 m (25'). Keep it away from strong impacts as the bronze housing, while durable, can get damaged. After each use, rinse it with fresh water to remove salt and debris. This will help it last longer and keep providing accurate readings.
