Blue Sea Systems 285-Series 25A Surface-Mount Circuit Breaker, Model 7180-BSS. It's a direct replacement for 185-Series breakers. The visible reset lever shows when it's open. It's ignition protected, safe for gasoline-powered boats, and meets SAE J1171 external ignition protection requirements. Weather-resistant, it combines switching and circuit breaker functions in one unit (not for high inrush current switches). It's 'Trip Free', so it can't stay closed after tripping. Specifications: 25A amperage, 48V DC max voltage, surface mount, thermally responsive bi-metal blade, 60 in-lb (6.78 Nm) terminal stud torque, 3000A interrupt capacity at 48V, -40°C to 85°C operating temperature, Type III class, and M6 terminal stud accepting 1/4' ring terminal.

Using this circuit breaker is easy. First, make sure the power is off before installation. Mount it on a flat surface as it's a surface-mount type. Connect the wires to the M6 terminal stud, which can accept a 1/4' ring terminal. Tighten the terminal stud with a torque of 60 in-lb (6.78 Nm). When the circuit breaker trips, the visible reset lever will show it's open. Simply reset it after fixing the issue. Note that you shouldn't use it as a switch where high inrush currents are expected. For maintenance, keep it clean and dry as it's weather-resistant, but avoid exposing it to extreme conditions. Check the terminal connections regularly to ensure they're tight. It can operate in temperatures from -40°C to 85°C, so don't use it outside this range.
