Product Detail

The Airmar B75C-12-M is a top - notch depth and fast - response water - temperature sensor. It features a bronze transducer housing and is ideal for fiberglass or wood hull boats up to 8 m (25’). With exclusive Xducer ID® technology, it operates on a medium CHIRP frequency from 80 kHz to 130 kHz, offering a 50 kHz total bandwidth. This covers popular fishing frequencies like 88 and 107 kHz. The beamwidth ranges from 24° to 16°, providing excellent bottom detail in shallow and medium depths down to 274 m (900’). The 12° tilt of the element corrects for hull deadrise when installed almost flush to the hull, ensuring accurate depth readings. It comes with a 9 m (30') cable and is suitable for a deadrise range of 8° to 15°. The package includes B75C-12-M-MM and MMC-12F Cable.

Using the Airmar B75C - 12 - M is quite straightforward. First, make sure your boat's hull is fiberglass or wood and is up to 8 m (25’) in size. The transducer should be installed almost flush to the hull. This way, the 12° tilt of the element will correct for the hull deadrise and direct the beam down for accurate depth readings. When it comes to frequency, just set it within the 80 to 130 kHz range. This will cover the popular fishing frequencies and give you great bottom detail. As for maintenance, keep the bronze housing clean to prevent corrosion. Also, check the 9 m (30') cable regularly for any signs of wear or damage. Remember, this transducer is not retractable, so handle it with care. It's designed for a deadrise range of 8° to 15°, so ensure your boat's deadrise falls within this range for optimal performance.
