Using this Blue Sea 7146 circuit breaker is easy. First, make sure the power is off. Mount it on a flat surface using the recessed mounting holes for a neat look. Connect heavy gauge wire lugs to the large terminal studs. The lever on the breaker can be used to switch it on and off, and it also shows the trip status. When the breaker trips, it's protecting your circuit from too much current. Just turn off the power, then reset the breaker by moving the lever. Keep in mind that this breaker is designed for a maximum of 48 Volts DC. It works well in an operating temperature range from -25°C to +82°C. Make sure to keep it dry as it's waterproof but too much moisture might still cause issues. Also, be aware that this product can expose you to certain chemicals that are known to cause health problems in California. Check P65Warnings.ca.gov for more information.
