Enhanced 12x9 BOLT System with Adjustable Upper Hinge
Right-sized trim tabs can transform your boating experience. They adjust your boat's running angle, helping you get on plane faster, correct listing, improve visibility, and boost overall efficiency and control. Bennett Marine trim tabs are the key to a smoother, more efficient ride.
Key Features:
- Get on plane fast and see over the bow
- Improve your vessel's performance and efficiency
- Correct listing (roll)
- Adjust the boat's attitude for different speeds, sea conditions, and weight shifts
- Stop porpoising (rhythmic bouncing)
- Controls are sold separately
Guidelines for Choosing Trim Tab Size:
Generally, the widest tabs that fit your transom work best. More surface area means more lift. We usually recommend a 9" chord tab, but we might suggest a shorter, longer, or specially shaped tab based on your transom space.
For boats with a max speed of 40MPH, choose at least one inch of trim tab span per foot of boat length. For example, a 22' boat needs a 24"x9". If your boat goes over 40MPH, check out our Performance or Premier Line high - performance systems.
