Using this Airmar transducer is easy. First, make sure your boat is suitable with a fiberglass or wood hull and is at least 8 m (25’) long. Then, connect the included MMC - 14HB Mix and Match Cable to your Humminbird device. When you're out on the water, the transducer will start working right away, providing depth and water - temperature readings. It'll also help you detect fish in a wide area under the boat. Remember, the deadrise of your boat should be between 16° and 24°. For maintenance, keep the acoustic window (made of urethane) clean.
