Product Detail

Airmar's B175MW Medium Ultra - Wide 20 - Degree 1kW CHIRP Transducer has truly changed the fishing game. It uses a medium frequency of 60 - 100 kHz, boasting an ultra - wide beamwidth from 57° to 73° starboard and an average of 16° fore - aft. This gives maximum coverage under the boat, perfect for anglers targeting pelagic species in the upper water column. The Medium Ultra - Wide models are great for deeper species. When paired with other popular models like the B275LHW, it offers a wide range of frequencies for all depths. The B175MW Tilted Element Thru - hull is a 1 kW transducer in a well - loved Tilted Element housing with a ceramic element at 20°, 12°, or 0°. It's installed almost flush with the hull, correcting for hull deadrise and ensuring maximum echo returns. Features include a depth and fast - response water - temperature sensor, 1 kW power with depth tracking to 400 m, a 40 kHz total bandwidth, and bronze housing for different hull types. It also has exclusive Xducer ID® technology. Specifications: 1 kW power, 24° max deadrise angle, bronze housing, and more. This product may not be returned to the original point of purchase. Contact the manufacturer for issues. Quick Guide (pdf) and Brochure (pdf) available.

Using the Airmar B175MW transducer is easy. First, choose the right angle for the ceramic element (20°, 12°, or 0°) according to your hull's deadrise. Install it almost flush with the hull. Once installed, connect it to your system using the provided 9 - meter cable. The transducer will start providing depth and water - temperature information right away. When using it, keep in mind that the maximum vessel length it's suitable for is up to 11 meters. Also, the maximum depth it can track is 400 meters. For maintenance, regularly check the acoustic window made of urethane for any damage. Clean the bronze housing gently with a soft cloth. Avoid exposing the transducer to extreme temperatures outside the - 10°C to 40°C range. If you have any problems, don't return it to the place of purchase. Instead, contact the manufacturer directly.
