These Ancor heat shrink ring terminals are easy to use. First, select the right wire within the 16 - 14 gauge range. Slide the terminal onto the wire. Then, use a heat source like a heat gun to heat the terminal at 257°F (125°C). The terminal will shrink to 1/3 of its original size and form a watertight seal. Make sure to handle the terminal carefully during the heating process to avoid burns. As for maintenance, since the terminals are tinned for corrosion resistance and made of pure copper for maximum current flow, they don't need much special care. Just keep them in a dry place.
