The BoatLIFE Git Rot Kit - Quart is a unique two - part liquid epoxy. It penetrates the rot in dry wood, saturating it and restoring its original strength. It works with loose rotted fibers. Simply inject it into the wood, and it will soak in by capillary action. After mixing, it has a half - hour pot life and cures overnight. Once cured, it's sandable, paintable, drillable, and screwable. It's compatible with fiberglass resins, epoxies, and most sealants. Ideal for fixing transom, stringer, and cabin roof rot in both fiberglass and wood boats. Note: This product is for ground shipping only. How to use: First, make sure the wood is dry. Then, mix the two - part liquid epoxy in the kit. After mixing, you have half an hour to work with it. Inject the epoxy into the rotted wood, and it will soak in on its own. Let it cure overnight. You can then sand, paint, drill, or screw the treated area.
