Product Detail

Blue Sea Systems presents the ST Blade Battery Terminal Mount Fuse Block Kit, model 5024. This fuse block mounts directly on the battery terminal stud. It features screw terminals to securely hold wires, and each screw terminal comes with nylon insulated ring terminals. You can add small - format circuit labels to keep things organized. The insulating cover meets ABYC/USCG insulation standards and is ignition - protected, suitable for gasoline engine compartments as it meets ISO 8846 and SAE J1171. It also includes a 4 - circuit negative busbar, write - on labels, four 16 - 14 AWG and four 12 - 10 AWG nylon insulated ring terminals. Specifications: 4 circuits, 100A per block and 30A per circuit, 32V DC maximum voltage, tin - plated copper C11000 bus material, 3/8' (M10) stud mounting hole, 18 in - lb (2.03 Nm) screw terminal torque, #8 - 32 screw terminal type, and weighs 0.50lb (0.23 kg).

Using this Blue Sea Systems fuse block is easy. First, mount it on the battery terminal stud. Make sure to connect the wires using the screw terminals and use the provided nylon insulated ring terminals for a secure connection. You can add the small - format circuit labels to identify each circuit. Write on the included labels to mark the circuits clearly. When it comes to safety, since it's ignition - protected, it's safe to use in gasoline engine compartments. But always double - check for proper installation. For maintenance, keep it clean and dry. Check the screw terminals periodically to make sure they're tightened to the recommended 18 in - lb (2.03 Nm) torque. If you notice any signs of wear or damage, replace the fuse block or its components as needed.
