Product Detail

The Airmar M265C-LH is an in-hull transducer with a Garmin 12-pin connector. Model M265C-LH-12G offers depth-only functionality. With 1 kW of power, it delivers excellent deep-water performance. The low frequency ranges from 42 to 65 kHz with a 25° to 16° beamwidth and a maximum depth of 914 m (3000'), while the high frequency is 130 to 210 kHz with a 10° to 6° beamwidth and a max depth of 304 m (1000'). It has a total bandwidth of 103 kHz from one transducer, covering popular fishing frequencies like 50 and 200 kHz. The plastic housing and mounting tank are user - friendly. The patented Xducer ID® technology is a plus. It includes frequencies ideal for detecting different fish species such as Bluefin Tuna, squid, and cod. The seven - element low - frequency array and high - frequency ceramic ensure great performance at all depths. It's easy to install in the included tank, making it a top choice for those who don't want to drill holes in their hulls, especially for trailered or lifted boats.

Using the Airmar M265C - LH is quite straightforward. First, cut the included tank to match your boat's deadrise angle and then affix it inside the hull. Place the transducer in the tank, and it'll be properly oriented for best performance. When using, keep in mind that different frequencies are better for detecting certain fish. For example, use 60 kHz for Bluefin Tuna, 133 kHz for squid, and 175 kHz for cod. As for maintenance, regularly check the plastic housing for any signs of damage or wear. Make sure the Garmin 12 - pin connector is clean and free of corrosion. Also, check the cable length of 10 m (33') to ensure it's in good condition. If you notice any issues, it's best to contact a professional for repair or replacement.
