Using the Attwood Stowaway Light is easy. First, make sure your boat's power supply is 12V. Plug the 2 - Pin Standard Pole into the appropriate socket on your boat. The light is ready to use. When you're done, you can stow it away. The swivel cover on the base will protect the socket. Just turn the light so that the cover can close over the socket. As for maintenance, keep the lens clean with a soft cloth. Check the lamp regularly to make sure it's working. If the lamp needs to be replaced, use a 9 - watt wedge base lamp.
