This transom light features a 304 stainless - steel construction with a plastic body and a watertight lamp socket. Its translucent round body shines on both sides of the bulkhead, perfect for lighting interior compartments or as a cockpit courtesy light. A rubber gasket seals the lens and body to the mounting surface. It comes with one 7.5 - watt lamp and two stainless steel #10 screws.

It offers 2 - mile, 135 - degree transom visibility for pleasure craft up to 164 ft. (50 meters) long.

Using this Attwood transom light is easy. First, find a suitable spot on your boat's bulkhead. Make sure it's a flat surface. Then, use the two included stainless steel #10 screws to mount the light. Next, insert the 7.5 - watt lamp into the watertight socket. The light will provide great visibility for your pleasure craft up to 164 ft. long. When using it, keep in mind that it's designed for a 12 - volt power supply. For maintenance, regularly check the rubber gasket to ensure it's sealing the lens and body properly. If the lamp burns out, simply replace it with a new 7.5 - watt one. Store the light in a dry place when not in use to prevent rusting of the stainless - steel parts.
