Product Detail

The OLAS Exposure T2 is a remarkable, waterproof, and compact rechargeable transmitter. It can be tracked by any OLAS Receiver, and its integrated vibration and light indication keep you aware of the tag status all the time. When a crew member leaves the vessel or falls overboard, the alarm triggers immediately. OLAS then guides the remaining crew clearly, helping with successful MOB recovery and communication with emergency services. It comes with a silicone wrist strap and a safety - break neck lanyard with a silicone holder for added versatility. When used with the OLAS Guardian or the OLAS N2K and the Smart Lock feature in the OLAS app, it can stop and lock the engines. The OLAS T2 Tags are compatible with all OLAS receivers. Once the tag loses connection with an OLAS receiver, the crew is alerted within seconds, and the MOB rescue screen on the OLAS app activates. In the OLAS app, you can track multiple tags, customize their names, and monitor battery life. Up to 6 OLAS T2 can be tracked directly via the OLAS mobile app, and up to 25 by the OLAS receivers, the Guardian, or the Core. It offers multiple tracking options. With the OLAS mobile application, within 8 seconds of a man - overboard incident, it detects the break in the 'virtual tether' to the tag, sounds a loud alarm, and guides the crew to the GPS location of the MOB with clear visual signals and bearing data. It also stores all necessary location and time data for rescue services. When using the OLAS N2K, Guardian, or Core (for vessels up to 50ft), connect up to 15 OLAS transmitters or 25 OLAS T2 transmitters. The MOB alert activates within 2 seconds of connection loss. The T2 has many great features like a rechargeable battery with up to 7 days of runtime from a single charge, a versatile attachment solution, and a cost - effective safety solution. It's compatible with various OLAS devices, allows you to connect 1 tag to multiple phones/tablets and vice versa, and has a visual and tactile low - battery alert. The OLAS mobile app adds extra safety features. The Solo Mode enables automatic SOS messaging in case of a MOB event. The TrackBack and Last Seen Location feature helps rescuers return to the MOB location, and it displays the latitude and longitude. The app also automatically generates a VHF Mayday script. The OLAS Smart Lock acts as a secondary key system to prevent theft. Specifications include a size of 1.5 x 1.5 x 0.4” / 38 x 38 x 9.5 mm (T2 only, strap not included), a weight of 0.42 oz / 12g (T2 only, strap not included), black color, easy operation (double - press to switch on, triple - press to switch off), 2 - hour charge time via USB (5V 0.5A), up to 7 days of battery life, a vessel range of 40 ft via mobile app alone (up to 50ft via OLAS N2K, Guardian, or Core), and extendable range up to 100 ft with extenders. It's not buoyant but is waterproof (IP67), suitable for recreational boating. Each tag comes with a silicone watch strap, USB charging cable, and neck lanyard, and has a 2 - year warranty with FCC, RED, CE, RoHS 2.0 approvals. Note that this product may not be returned to the original point of purchase. Contact the manufacturer directly for any issues.

Using the OLAS Exposure T2 is easy. First, charge it for 2 hours via USB (5V 0.5A). You can use the silicone wrist strap or the neck lanyard to attach it to yourself. To turn it on, double - press the device, and triple - press to turn it off. When you're on the boat, make sure it's connected to an OLAS receiver or the OLAS mobile app. If someone falls overboard, the alarm will go off quickly. The OLAS app will then guide you to the location of the person in the water. You can track up to 6 T2 transmitters with one phone/tablet or up to 25 with OLAS receivers, the Guardian, or the Core. For added safety, use the features in the OLAS app like Solo Mode, TrackBack, and Smart Lock. Remember, the battery can last up to 7 days on a single charge. If you see a visual or tactile low - battery alert, it's time to recharge. Keep the device dry as it's waterproof but not buoyant. Don't expose it to extreme temperatures. If you have any problems, don't return it to the place of purchase. Instead, contact the manufacturer directly. The product comes with a 2 - year warranty, so you can use it with confidence for your recreational boating activities.
