The OLAS Exposure Series Tags are a game-changer for boating safety. These smart, compact tags integrate OLAS (Overboard Location Alert System) technology, a must-have addition to any safety toolkit. With just one phone or tablet, you can track up to 6 different OLAS transmitters, and an unlimited number of phones/tablets can track each individual transmitter. If you need to monitor more, simply add the OLAS CORE base station or Guardian Engine Kill Switch. The OLAS mobile app detects when a tag goes missing within 8 seconds, immediately sounding an alarm on your phone and recording the incident's GPS coordinates. It then guides the crew back to the location of the man overboard (MOB) with clear visual signals and bearing data. Even better, all the necessary location and time data is stored for the rescue services. When boating alone, activate Solo mode in the app (requires 2G phone signal), and the app will automatically send an SMS with GPS coordinates to your emergency contact. Each tag is small, portable, and easy to attach to adults, children, pets, or objects like floatation devices. It comes with a universal silicone wrist strap with a stainless steel buckle and a pre-installed, user-replaceable CR2477 battery. The tags offer a range suitable for vessels up to 40 feet, but can be scaled up for larger vessels. They are waterproof (IP 67), Bluetooth® 4.1 compatible, and have a low battery indicator in the app. With a battery life of 3,500 hours when armed, OLAS provides a simple and cost-effective safety solution for everyone on board. This pack includes four ACR OLAS Exposure Series Tags.

Using the OLAS Exposure Series Tags is easy. First, make sure your phone or tablet has the free OLAS app installed (search for Exposure Olas in the App Store). Attach the tag to your wrist, life jacket, dog collar, or any other object using the provided silicone wrist strap. Once attached, activate the tag either manually or automatically via proximity sensing. When you're on the boat, the app will connect to the tag via Bluetooth 4.1. If the tag goes overboard, the app will detect it within 8 seconds and sound an alarm. The GPS on your phone or tablet will record the location of the incident, and the app will guide you back to that location. When boating alone, activate Solo mode in the app, but remember it requires a 2G phone signal. The app will then automatically send an SMS with GPS coordinates to your emergency contact if you get separated from the boat. To maintain your tags, keep them dry as they are waterproof but not buoyant. Check the battery life regularly using the low battery indicator in the app. When the battery runs out, you can easily replace it with a CR2477 lithium-ion battery. If you need to track more transmitters, consider adding the OLAS CORE base station or Guardian Engine Kill Switch. Also, note that this product may not be returned to the original point of purchase. Contact the manufacturer directly if you have any issues or concerns.
