The Pontoon Pump, initially designed for seaplane pontoon drainage, combines the standard features of a 'Thirsty - Mate_' pump. It comes with a flexible foot and a tapered collar that fits most standard pontoon funnels. The foot has a 1 1/4' (FH 1 - 1/4) threaded opening for attaching a wire - reinforced hose to extend the pump's reach. Add the bright red Float - A - Pump Sleeve (FPS - 3R) for positive flotation if the pump falls overboard. This sleeve not only provides flotation but also high visibility.

How to use: First, attach the wire - reinforced hose to the threaded foot of the pump if you want to extend its reach. Then, place the pump in the pontoon with the foot and collar properly fitted into the funnel. Start the pump to drain the water. Note: When using near water, be careful not to let the pump slip overboard. If it does, the Float - A - Pump Sleeve will help it float. Maintenance: After each use, clean the pump to prevent debris from clogging it. Store it in a dry place to avoid rusting.
