Product Detail

The Airmar B75C is a 0° tilted element medium CHIRP bronze thru-hull transducer with a bare wire mix-n-match cable. Model B75C-0-M-0. It's a depth and fast-response water-temperature sensor. With 600 W of power, it can reach a maximum depth of 274 m (900'). Operating at a medium frequency of 80 to 130 kHz, it has a 24° to 16° beamwidth. This medium frequency offers great shallow-water performance, clear bottom details, and better deep performance than high-frequency bands. Its low-profile, thru-hull housing provides excellent display resolution at speed when properly installed. Made of bronze, it's suitable for fiberglass or wood hulls. It also features patented Xducer ID® technology. Airmar's low-profile, Chirp-ready transducers are ideal for smaller boats like center consoles. The B75M offers up to 50 kHz of total bandwidth in a single installation and shows amazing bottom details in shallow and medium depths down to 274 m (900'). When installed almost flush to the hull, the element tilt corrects for hull deadrise, directing the beam straight down for maximum echo returns and more accurate depth readings. Specifications: Deadrise Range 0° to 7°, Hole Size 70 mm (2-13/16'), Housing Material Bronze, Deadrise 0° to 7°, Maximum depth 900ft, Medium Frequency 80 to 130 kHz. What's in the box: B75C-0-M-MM and MMC-0 Cable.

Using this Airmar transducer is quite straightforward. First, make sure to install it almost flush to the hull. This will correct for the hull deadrise and direct the beam straight down, giving you more accurate depth readings. When installing, ensure the hole size is 70 mm (2 - 13/16'). This transducer is suitable for fiberglass or wood hulls only. Regarding the power, it operates with 600 W and can reach a maximum depth of 900 feet. It works best in the medium frequency range of 80 to 130 kHz. As for maintenance, keep it clean. After each use, rinse it with fresh water to remove any salt or debris. Check the cable regularly for any signs of wear and tear. If you notice any issues, replace the cable immediately. Also, since it has patented Xducer ID® technology, don't try to tamper with it. Just let it do its job and you'll enjoy clear bottom details and accurate depth readings on your smaller boat like a center console.
