Product Detail

The Airmar B265C-LH Bronze Thru-Hull transducer comes with a Bare Wire Mix-N-Match cable. Model: B265LH-0. It offers depth and fast-response water-temperature sensing. With 1 kW of power, it delivers great deep-water performance. The low frequency ranges from 42 to 65 kHz with a 25° to 16° beamwidth and a maximum depth of 914 m (3000'), while the high frequency is from 130 to 210 kHz with a 10° to 6° beamwidth and a maximum depth of 304 m (1000'). It has a total bandwidth of 103 kHz from one transducer, covering popular fishing frequencies like 50 and 200 kHz. The bronze housing with a High-performance Fairing ensures optimal high-speed performance and it features patented Xducer ID® technology. This transducer includes frequencies perfect for detecting various fish species such as Bluefin Tuna, squid, and cod. It provides excellent resolution, bottom discrimination, and separates bait and game-fish at all depths. The seven-element, low-frequency array for deep-water performance and the narrow-beam high-frequency ceramic for pinpointing fish are great features. The included High-performance Fairing enhances broadband performance at speeds over 30 knots (34 MPH). Specifications include a 9 m (30') cable length, low-high frequency bands, and more. What's in the box: B265C-LH-MM Transducer, High Speed Fairing Block, High Speed Fairing Block Bolt Kit, and MMC-0 Cable.

Using the Airmar B265C-LH transducer is quite straightforward. First, make sure to install it properly according to the mounting style, which is Thru-Hull with Fairing. Connect the 9 m (30') cable to your compatible device. Once installed, it will start sensing depth and water temperature automatically. When fishing, you can take advantage of its wide frequency range to detect different fish species. For example, if you're targeting Bluefin Tuna, use the 60 kHz frequency. As for maintenance, keep the transducer clean. You can gently wipe it with a soft cloth after each use. Avoid hitting it against hard objects as it may damage the housing or internal components. Also, check the cable regularly for any signs of wear and tear. If you notice any issues, it's best to get it repaired or replaced as soon as possible. And when the boat is not in use, store the transducer in a dry place to prevent corrosion.
