Get the Blue Sea Push Button Reset Only Quick Connect Circuit Breaker with 40 Amps. Model 7061-BSS. It's a branch circuit breaker that can also be used for 24-hour circuit protection. These quick connect terminal style breakers fit into Blue Sea Systems' WeatherDeck Waterproof Circuit Breaker Panels, Dual Battery Bank Main Distribution Panels, and 360 Distribution Panels. Its compact design allows for high density circuit protection. It has a push-to-reset operation and a 'Trip Free' design that can't be held 'ON' during a fault current. It's ignition protected, making it safe for gasoline powered boats. There's an optional Push Button Waterproof Boot to protect it in wet environments, replacing the dress nut mounting and resisting discoloration and cracking. Specifications: Amperage 40A, Maximum Voltage 32vDC, Panel Mount 3/8 - 27 UNS, Thermal trip with manual push-button reset only, 1/4 Male Quick Connect terminal type, Interrupt Capacity 3000A @ 14.7V and 2500A @ 28V, Minimum Operating Temperature -10° C, Maximum Operating Temperature 60° C.

Using the Blue Sea 40A Push Button Quick Connect Circuit Breaker is easy. First, make sure it's properly mounted on the panel according to the specified mounting method. Connect it to the relevant circuits using the 1/4 Male Quick Connect terminals. If you're in a wet environment, you can install the optional Push Button Waterproof Boot. When the circuit experiences a fault current, the breaker will trip automatically. To reset it, just press the push button. Note that this breaker is ignition protected, but it's still important to follow all safety regulations when installing it on gasoline powered boats. Keep the operating temperature within the range of -10° C to 60° C. For maintenance, check the terminals regularly to ensure they're clean and tightly connected. If you notice any discoloration or cracking, especially on the optional boot, consider replacing it.
