Product Detail

The B&G V100 is a top - notch VHF marine radio system. It's a Class D DSC approved radio with an integrated GPS receiver. You can connect up to 4 wireless and 4 wired handsets, and add an optional loudhailer and up to 4 external speakers. It offers NMEA 0183® and NMEA 2000® connectivity, along with a 60 - second audio rewind feature. The external speakers are configurable with volume offsetting. The handset backlight can be grouped with NMEA2000 backlight groups for unified control. The Track Buddy feature lets you track up to 5 'buddies' via their VHF MMSI. This system comes with an NRS - 1 VHF Blackbox module, one H100 wired handset, and one SP100 speaker. You can expand it with more handsets and speakers, even doubling it as an on - board intercom. Each wireless handset has inductive charging, a large, easy - to - read screen, and an intuitive interface. You can access all key functions like channel scan, favourites, and more. The system has various useful features such as local/distant control, position polling, and group call. With a wide range of specifications covering power supply, frequency, and more, it ensures reliable performance on the water.

Using the B&G V100 VHF marine radio system is quite straightforward. First, connect the blackbox to a 12V DC battery system. Make sure the voltage is within the specified range to avoid any issues. Connect the VHF antenna to the SO - 239 connector and the GPS antenna to the SMA female connector. You can then start connecting your wired and wireless handsets and external speakers as per your needs. To use the Track Buddy feature, enter the VHF MMSI of your 'buddies' in the system. When using the handsets, you can easily access key functions through the large screen and intuitive interface. For channel selection, use the channel scan and favourites options. As for maintenance, keep the system in a dry place within the temperature range of - 20°C to + 55°C. Check the battery regularly and replace the 10A mini - blade fuse if necessary. Make sure the antenna connections are secure to ensure good signal reception. If you need to update the software, you can do it via NMEA 2000.
