These terminals are tinned to resist corrosion and made of pure copper for the best current flow. They have a brazed seam for high strength and are UL listed and CSA recognized. Ancor's heat shrink connectors come with heat-activated adhesive in the tubing sleeve. When heated, they create a watertight seal, and offer excellent vibration and strain relief.

Using these Ancor heat shrink ring terminals is easy. First, strip the end of the wire you want to connect. Then, insert the wire into the terminal. Next, use a heat source like a heat gun to shrink the tubing. Make sure to heat evenly around the tubing until it forms a tight seal. As for precautions, always wear heat - resistant gloves when using a heat gun to avoid burns. Also, don't overheat the terminal as it might damage the adhesive or the terminal itself. For maintenance, keep the terminals in a dry place to prevent corrosion. If you notice any signs of damage, like cracks in the tubing or loose connections, replace the terminal right away.
