Using this Blue Sea circuit breaker is easy. First, make sure the power is off before installation. Mount it securely using the #6 - 32 stainless steel screws and tighten them to the recommended 6 in - lb (0.68 Nm) torque. Connect your electrical components to the 1/4 - 20 tin - plated brass terminal studs, tightening them to 35 in - lb (3.95 Nm). When in use, the flat rocker actuator will be flush when the breaker is 'ON'. If there's an overcurrent situation, the breaker will trip automatically and can't be forced closed. To reset it, turn it to the 'OFF' position and then back to 'ON'. Remember, this breaker is designed for specific voltage and amperage limits (80A AC / 80A DC, 240V AC / 48V DC). Don't use it outside these specifications. Also, be aware that it can expose you to harmful chemicals. Keep it in an environment between - 40°C and 85°C. For long - term use, check the screws periodically to ensure they're tight and the actuator moves freely. If you notice any issues like excessive heat or abnormal tripping, stop using it and have it inspected.
