This amazing circuit breaker combines switching and circuit protection in one. All its components meet SAE J1171 external ignition protection requirements, making it safe for gasoline - powered boats. It features a clear single - lever operation, and its 'Trip Free' design ensures safety during fault currents. It's waterproof, has recessed mounting holes for a clean look, and a self - trimming case that saves you from using mounting panels or trim bezels. Using this Blue Sea 7040 60Amp 187 - Series Thermal Circuit Breaker is easy. First, make sure the power is off before installation. Use a standard hole saw to create a hole for the round case. Install it in the panel, and connect heavy - gauge wire lugs to the terminal studs with large clearance. The robust 5/16 terminals will provide a strong connection. When the breaker is on, the large lever will show the status. If there's a fault current, the 'Trip Free' design will automatically trip.
