Brochure (pdf)

Using your Barton Marine Single Size 3 Stanchion Lead Block is easy. First, mount it on the stanchion base by screwing together the integral stainless - steel strap. Then, thread the Genoa furling line through the block and use the cam cleat to secure it in place. The block will rotate on the swivel head to match your pulling angle, allowing you to adjust the line from the cockpit. When it comes to maintenance, regularly check the ball - bearing sheaves for any signs of wear. Clean them with a mild soap and water solution and dry them thoroughly. Make sure the cam cleat is also clean and functioning properly. Only use ropes with a diameter of up to 3/8' (10mm) to ensure safe operation and do not exceed the safe working load of 881 lb (400 kg). Keep the block away from sharp objects that could damage it.
