Using your Blue Sea 6011 m-Series Mini Dual Circuit Plus Battery Switch is easy. First, decide on your mounting location - it can be on a surface, front panel, or rear panel. Connect your battery banks to the 3/8'-16 tin-plated copper studs, which can accept 3/8' and M10 ring terminals. When you turn the ON/OFF switch, it will simultaneously control two battery banks while keeping them isolated. This helps prevent a dead start battery. If your start battery gets low, use the 'Combine Batteries' function. The switch has ignition protection, so it's safe for gasoline-powered boats. Remember, this product contains chemicals that can be harmful, so be aware of the California warning. For maintenance, check the contacts regularly for corrosion and clean them if needed. Keep the isolating cover on to protect the rear contacts. The switch is made of non-corrosive marine-grade metals and durable polycarbonate, so it should last a long time with proper care. The tactile textures on the knob make it easy to tell the position by feel, and the included ICON label set helps you identify circuits.
