This innovative switch is a great addition to our multi - award - winning Pro Installer EZ Mount range. It's like having three switches in one: House, Start, and Emergency Parallel. It offers easy and intuitive control for boaters. The unique isolated - On position lets you use house loads and the VHF radio when the engine needs electrical isolation. It also allows engine isolation during servicing while still powering house loads such as lighting, stereo, and fridge.
For boats or vehicles with single engine and house battery banks, it enables optimized use of battery banks. A deep - cycle bank is perfect for house loads, and thin - plate starting batteries are great for the engine. Moreover, it isolates sensitive electronics from voltage spikes induced by the starter motor as house and engine loads are separated during normal operation, unlike selector battery switches.
These revolutionary EZ Mount battery switches are incredibly easy to install. You can wire from the front for simple surface mounting. Their shared interconnection height allows them to 'cluster' directly with the Pro Installer Busbar Range, resulting in fast and compact installations. Optimized cable access makes the installation process a breeze.

Using this BEP Pro Installer 400A Dual Bank Control Switch is easy. First, make sure to choose the right mounting option - you can mount it on the surface, rear, or front. When wiring, take advantage of the front - wiring feature for simple surface mounting. The switch has four operation positions: 1, 1/2, Parallel, and Off. Use the 'House' position for powering house loads, 'Start' to start the engine, and 'Emergency Parallel' in case of emergencies. The isolated - On position is handy when you need to isolate the engine electrically but still want to use house loads. Just turn the switch to this position.

As for maintenance, the switch has a removable knob. You can take it off during servicing to isolate the switch. Also, it comes with three removable side plates for protection. Keep these plates in place to protect the switch from damage. Check the switch regularly for any signs of wear or damage, especially the studs and connections.
