Product Detail

Zeus 24V 4kW Low Turn On (LTO) Single Foot Alternator with Isolated Ground

The ARCO Zeus 24v 4kW LTO alternator is a game - changer! It starts at lower RPMs, runs much cooler, and pumps out more power than those old, bulky alternators. At just under 1,500 RPM, it continuously generates over 1.4kW (51 Amps), and at 2,000 Alternator RPM, it almost hits 2.4kW (87 Amps). In real - world scenarios, a marine diesel engine idling at 750 RPM with a 2:1 pulley ratio can generate over 1.5kW (55 Amps), and a Mercedes Sprinter at 750 RPM with a 3.21:1 ratio can generate over 2.5kW (91 Amps)!

This alternator represents the latest in 24V performance. Unlike competitors' 24V alternators that use a 12V rotor and field current (less efficient and limiting output), the ARCO uses a native 24V rotor and field current. This makes it run cooler and extends its lifespan.

Features:

  • Designed for high - energy production.
  • Great for marine, RV, military, and commercial uses.

Quick Guide (pdf)
Brochure (pdf)

Using your ARCO Marine Zeus 24V 4kW Low Turn On Single Foot Alternator is easy. First, make sure it's properly mounted. It can replace most domestic - style alternators with a single 1” or 2” mounting foot. Connect it to your engine according to the specifications. You can use the included pulley hardware for the pulley mounting. For best performance, pair it with the ARCO Zeus Bluetooth Alternator Regulator, especially if you're using lithium batteries. When it comes to charging, this alternator is great for large battery banks. It'll charge them up quickly. Just keep an eye on the RPMs. It starts working at lower RPMs and can give you a lot of power even at idle speeds. As for maintenance, check the alternator regularly for any signs of overheating. Since it has heat - shedding coatings, dual cooling fans, and an externally - located rectifier, it runs cool, but it's still a good idea to make sure there's no blockage to the cooling system. Also, keep the alternator clean. Avoid exposing it to extreme conditions beyond its max continuous operating temperature of 100°C / 212°F. If you notice any issues, refer to the quick guide or brochure for troubleshooting tips.
