Upgrade your engine's power with this top - notch 170 AMP 12V Alternator Kit. It includes an XT - DF - 170 - K6 Alternator, an MC - 618 Regulator, temperature sensors, and all the mounting hardware you need. The XT Series Alternator features 170A output, 12V, a saddle mount (dual foot), 3.15in size, and a K6 serpentine pulley with case ground. It has a Hitachi - style mounting, perfect for Yanmar, Westerbeke, Lehman, and Perkins - Sabre Engines. This kit replaces AT - DF - MC - 165 - KIT and AT - DF - 165 - K6 - KIT. Using this alternator kit is easy. First, make sure your engine is turned off. Then, use the included mounting hardware to install the XT - DF - 170 - K6 Alternator in place of your old one. Connect the MC - 618 Regulator and the temperature sensors as described in the brochure. Once everything is connected, start your engine to test the alternator. Remember, this product can't be returned to the place you bought it from. If you have any problems, contact the manufacturer right away.
