For navigation, use the 5” high - resolution display. You can connect it to external devices like plotters, ECDIS, or radar via the NMEA 0183 interfaces. To use the GPS, you can choose between the integrated GPS with an external antenna or an external NMEA feed. When it comes to the SD card slot, insert a blank card for data logging or a C - Map MAX data card for detailed background charting. The wireless interface lets you connect to smartphones, tablets, or computers. Just set it to client mode to connect to an existing network or AP mode for direct connection. Remember, up to 5 devices can connect simultaneously. As for the AIS SART and MOB alarm, it will automatically activate when it detects a beacon. If you don't want to be disturbed, use the remote silence switch. For maintenance, keep the device clean and dry. Periodically check the waterproof cover of the SD card reader. Also, update the software regularly to ensure optimal performance. If you have any questions, refer to the quick guide (pdf).
