The AISnode is a revolutionary NMEA 2000 Boat AIS Class B Receiver. It's the first AIS receiver crafted just for NMEA 2000. With a single 0.75m NMEA 2000 cable that draws power from the network and sends AIS data to it, installation is a breeze. Simply find or add a spare NMEA 2000 'T Piece', screw the cable in, connect a VHF antenna, and you're done. It uses the same high - performance, true dual - channel receiver as our latest Class B Transponders. It can spot every AIS - equipped vessel within VHF range without missing a single target. It supports all the latest NMEA 2000 AIS message types, like AIS SARTs, AtoNs, and Class B static data, making it fully compatible with modern AIS - enabled chart plotters. NMEA 2000 is super popular on new boats, and most new chart plotters have an NMEA 2000 interface. Thanks to its reliability, easy plug - and - play setup, and industry - standard compatibility, it's replacing the old NMEA0183 standard. While our AIT2000 and AIT3000 Class B Transponders offer NMEA 2000 connectivity, not everyone wants the extra cost of a transponder. So, for small chart plotters, an AIS receiver like this is a top choice. Features: Application for boats, Class B Receiver. Specifications: No display, no GPS, receive - only function, no antenna included, AIS Class B, box dimensions 4'H x 7'W x 10'L, weight 1 lbs, UPC 081159830403.

Using the AISnode is easy. First, find a spare NMEA 2000 'T Piece' on your boat. Then, screw the provided 0.75m NMEA 2000 cable to the connection. Next, connect a VHF antenna. Once everything is connected, the AISnode will start receiving AIS data from vessels within VHF range. When using the AISnode, make sure the VHF antenna is properly installed and has a clear line of sight. Avoid placing the AISnode near sources of strong electromagnetic interference, as this could affect its performance. For maintenance, keep the AISnode clean and dry. Periodically check the cable connections to ensure they are tight. If you encounter any problems, consult the user manual or contact our customer support team.
