Product Detail

The Airmar SS175C-0-H 0 Degree Tilt transducer offers high CHIRP functionality with an Si-Tex 8-Pin. It's a depth and fast - response water - temperature sensor. With 1 kW power, it can reach a maximum depth of 304 m (1000'). The high frequency ranges from 130 kHz to 210 kHz, providing a 10° to 6° beamwidth and 80 kHz of total bandwidth from one transducer. This high - frequency feature ensures great shallow - water performance, clear bottom details, and excellent fish target separation. Ideal for boats up to 11 m (36'), its stainless - steel housing fits all hull types and materials. There's also a bronze housing (B175H) option. It comes with exclusive Xducer ID® technology. Airmar’s low - profile Chirp - ready transducers are perfect for small boats like center consoles. The high - frequency band has a narrow beamwidth, great for finding fish near structures. The SS175H offers up to 80 kHz of total bandwidth in one installation. Tilted element transducers correct for hull deadrise, orienting the ceramic element horizontally for maximum echo returns. Specifications include a weight of 2.7 kg (6 lb), hull deadrise up to 24°, an urethane acoustic window, a 98 mm (3 - 7/8') hole size, and one internal ceramic assembly.

Using the Airmar SS175C - 0 - H transducer is quite straightforward. First, find a suitable spot on your boat up to 11 m long. Make sure the hull deadrise is up to 24°. Drill a 98 mm hole as per the specification. Install the transducer almost flush to the hull. The 0 - degree tilt will correct for the hull deadrise and help the ceramic element face horizontally for the best echo returns. When it comes to operation, the transducer will measure depth and water temperature quickly. The high - frequency CHIRP feature is great for getting detailed information in shallow water and separating fish targets. As for maintenance, keep the urethane acoustic window clean. Avoid hitting the transducer against hard objects as it may damage the internal ceramic assembly. Also, check the connections regularly to ensure stable performance. If you notice any issues, consult the manufacturer's support team.
