Product Detail

The Airmar B175C-20-H is a CHIRP high-frequency transducer with a 20d tilted element and a Navico 7-Pin Mix-N-Match cable. Model: B175C-20-H-BL. It's a depth and fast-response water-temperature sensor. It offers high CHIRP from 150 kHz to 210 kHz, ideal for boats 8 m (25’) and above. With 80 kHz of total bandwidth from one transducer, it covers the popular 200 kHz fishing frequency and more. Suitable for fiberglass or wood hulls. The ceramic elements are permanently tilted inside the housing to compensate for hull deadrise, ensuring the beam is aimed straight down for maximum echo returns and no need for a fairing. Flush/tilted transducers mount through a hole in any fiberglass, metal, or wooden hull, with the fitting flush against the exterior hull surface. High frequency means greater detail, sensitive to small targets and perfect for shallower water and anglers fishing less than 1500 feet. Specifications: Deadrise 16 - 25°, Acoustic Window Urethane, Power rating 1 kW @ 1% duty cycle, Frequency 130 to 210 kHz - A (Broadband), Beam 10° to 6° beam, Max Depth 1000ft. What's in the box: B175C-20-H-MM Transducer and MMC-BL Mix-N-Match Cable.

Using the Airmar B175C-20-H transducer is straightforward. First, find a suitable spot on your boat's hull. It can be installed on fiberglass, metal, or wooden hulls. Drill a hole and mount the transducer so that the outside of the fitting is flush against the hull surface. Connect the Navico 7-Pin Mix-N-Match cable to your boat's system. When using it, keep in mind that it's best for boats 8 meters and above and works well in shallower waters, especially for fishing less than 1500 feet. For maintenance, regularly check the cable for any signs of wear or damage. Also, make sure the transducer's exterior is clean, as dirt or debris can affect its performance. When not in use, store it in a dry place to prevent corrosion. If you notice any issues with the echo returns or the temperature readings, check the connections and consult the user manual or a professional.
