Product Detail
The Airmar B60-20-MM is a top - notch 600 W, 50/200 kHz transducer. It features Airmar’s well - loved Tilted Element™. The ceramic element is fixed at a 20° angle in the housing. When installed nearly flush with the hull, it corrects for the hull deadrise angle, sending the beam straight down for super - accurate depth readings. Key features include depth and fast - response water temperature sensing. With 600 W of power, it has a dual - frequency element. The 50 kHz offers a wide 45° beamwidth for depths up to 353 m (1200'), and the 200 kHz has a 12° beamwidth for depths up to 206 m (700'). Ideal for center - console or trailered boats, its low - profile bronze housing extends only 5 mm (3/16') outside the hull, without affecting the boat’s performance. It's suitable for fiberglass or wood hulls, and there's also a stainless - steel option (SS60) for all hull materials. Using the Airmar B60-20-MM transducer is easy. First, make sure to install it almost flush with the hull of your boat. This helps the tilted element correct for the hull deadrise angle and gives you the most accurate depth readings. When you're out on the water, the transducer will sense both the depth and the water temperature. Just turn on your compatible device, and it will start getting data right away. For maintenance, keep the transducer clean. Regularly check the bronze housing for any signs of damage or corrosion, especially if you use your boat in saltwater. If there's any buildup on the acoustic window, gently clean it with a soft cloth. Remember, this product can't be returned to the place you bought it from. If you have any problems or questions, contact the manufacturer directly.
